Critical thinking a level past papers
Original post by ImAz Hey everyone! I know this might sound odd, but I actually want to achieve a good grade in AS critical thinking, unfortunately out teacher hasn't taught us much to help us with the coming exams.
No clue how to maximise my potential in the exam Does anyone have any tips on revising etc? The a-level is almost-entirely skills-based and, in general, there is article source much your teacher's shortcomings could have done to influence your grade as long as you know that definitions etc In terms of the logical arguments, if you are used to doing these from maths, then you critical thinking a level past papers thrive!
At my school, we got taught the AS in our tutor groups an hour or two a week and barely covered the material in time. I remember being anxious because my teacher predicted my a lower grade than everyone else because I used to tell her that loads of the stuff she was saying was wrong in the lessons and couldn't understand how she had got to her conclusions! She also tried to drill into everyone's minds "don't choose bias as a flaw, it never comes up and its hard to write about" for the long bit at the end.
